2024 Swap O Rama
Clean out your basements, attics, and garages, and turn your unwanted items into cash. The Swap-O-Rama is a Village-wide annual sale, where people can sell their treasures alongside many of their rural neighbors.
This event is always the first weekend of May. Registration forms will be located at OK Hardware, The Village Hive, DS Ale Amherst Mart, The Landmark & Jensen Community Center.
If you’re interested in being involved with this event, we ask that you fill out our registration form, where you can mark where you’ll be placed, and where you can share the list of items that you are selling. The cost is $5.00 in cash to be included on this map. The map will be available one week before the sale. The registration form deadline is April 22nd to be included on the map.
5th Annual Wine Walk
Join us for the Annual Wine Walk in downtown Amherst. The Wine Walk will stop at up to 20 area businesses. Each business will offer two pours of Wisconsin wine, including appetizers and snacks.
Tickets are $45 and will be limited to 300 people. Tickets go on sale Sunday, March 10, 2024. Buy tickets here.
You must be 21 or older to participate in this event. Participants will be required to wear a wristband.
Check-in will be at the Jensen Community Center in Amherst any time between 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Here, you can pick up your commemorative wine glass and your map.
Participants agree to not hold the TRBA responsible for damages, liabilities, or losses that may be incurred at or during the event.
2024 Celebrate Amherst
Join us for our Annual Celebrate Amherst event. Come rain or shine. The event is free to the public and we have activities, food, and drinks all available on Main Street in Amherst throughout the day. The event includes live music, craft vendors, a classic car show, Central Wisconsin Ford Model A Club Rides, Firetruck, Kids Activities (face painting and balloon art), and a silent auction.
Live music this year will feature Road Trip, a cover band that provides one of the greatest shows in the Midwest!
2024 Haunted Scavenger Hunt
Grab your spooky friends & creep around area businesses to complete scary challenges. Scavenger Hunt- Teams of 2-6 people, Each Challenge will be given a point value & the Top 3 Winning Teams will win a prize! Event Fee $10 per team.

Come to downtown Amherst to experience the biggest and best small-town Christmas Parade Central Wisconsin has to offer. Area businesses will be driving down Main Street with the best lit Christmas floats that will sure to keep your eyes all aglow. Eat, drink, listen to music, and be merry at area restaurants.
2024 Easter Egg Hunt
Come rain or shine. The event is free to the public and we have eggs, the Easter bunny, and prizes to win! Visit and have your picture taken with the Easter Bunny.
